Life List Adventure – Skydiving!

Once you have tasted flight, you will always look to the heavens, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

If it scares you it might be a good thing to try.

Life List Adventure!

Skydiving has long been on my list of things to do. One of my good friends was working at the Triangle Skydiving Center in Raleigh/Louisburg, NC and she had reached out to everyone on Facebook about a deal they were running so I signed up!

Jeff, the instructor I jumped with, was great! Other than the turns to get us in position to land – I loved the whole experience. I get motion sick very easy and was a little queasy after a few turns.

People ask was I nervous or scared? I really wasn’t; I was calm on the plane ride up and felt safe even when it was time to jump. I guess it’s the ultimate lesson in letting go 🙂

I found it very meditative and can understand why people get addicted to jumping.

Here’s a fun video of my tandem jump – I hope it inspires you to give it a try!
