Life List Adventure!
Skydiving has long been on my list of things to do. One of my good friends was working at the Triangle Skydiving Center in Raleigh/Louisburg, NC and she had reached out to everyone on Facebook about a deal they were running so I signed up!
Jeff, the instructor I jumped with, was great! Other than the turns to get us in position to land – I loved the whole experience. I get motion sick very easy and was a little queasy after a few turns.
People ask was I nervous or scared? I really wasn’t; I was calm on the plane ride up and felt safe even when it was time to jump. I guess it’s the ultimate lesson in letting go 🙂
I found it very meditative and can understand why people get addicted to jumping.
